Rescue NL began operation in May 2015. We are an incorporated non-profit organization that operates under a no-kill policy lead by a board of directors with a combined 42 years of animal rescue experience. We take in animals that have been seized by the authorities (RCMP or RNC), surrendered by their owners, or transferred from another shelter where the animal has reached their holding limit and they are scheduled to be euthanized. Our animals are currently held in a network of foster homes and a shelter that is not open to the public.
All of the work that Rescue NL undertakes is done by volunteers, the only payment here is in tail wags and licks.
