Clermont to the Rescue Humane Society, originally founded in 2013, is a non profit organization under contract with the County Commissioners to manage the Clermont County shelter for dogs. We advocate for stray, abandoned and surrendered animals in Clermont County by providing care and temporary refuge for dogs; for animals seized in legal action of abuse or neglect; and for other homeless animals, such as cats, as we have room. Our Animal Control Officers and Humane Officer are devoted to protecting and ensuring the humane treatment of the animals in our community. Our Animal Control Officers are devoted to protecting and ensuring the humane treatment of the animals in our community.

Our long term goal is to institute programs and offer resources that establish a sense of responsibility, kindness and empathy towards animals, thus dramatically reducing euthanasia. Everyone plays a vital role in making this world a better place for both people and animals.

We believe, "If everyone does a little, it becomes a lot".
