Meet Kingston! This handsome boy is an eight-month-old, boxer/bulldog puppy with an incredibly loving personality and a unique smile. Unfortunately for Kingston, he also has cherry eye.

Cherry eye is a condition that causes the nictating membrane (or third eyelid) to protrude and become visible on the exterior of the eye. This membrane is responsible for the majority of your pet's tear production. Without a properly functioning nictating membrane, an animal is much more likely to develop dry eye and have impaired vision as they get older. Because of this, Kingston will require surgery.

Johnny is a #happy, #friendly, #adorable guy that really enjoys being around people. He came to us from @iowcas in June and we think he's around 6 years old and probably a former hunting dog. Johnny gets along well with most dogs and really enjoys playgroup!

Cue the tail wagging! We want to send a huge THANK YOU to the Classic Cruisers Car Club for choosing us as one of their charities again this year!
