Switzerland County Animal Shelter

Switzerland County Animal Shelter is an Animal Care and Control service for residents of Switzerland County.

Welcome to the Switzerland County Animal Shelter Facebook Page!

The Switzerland County Animal Shelter is your County funded Animal Care and Control, serving the county since 2007. It is our duty to the residents of Switzerland County to provide animal control services, including all domesticated animals. SCAS also investigates abuse and neglect cases in the county. SCAS also helps the Vevay Animal Control place dogs they receive. The shelter has 18 indoor/outdoor dog runs along with 7 outdoor kennels and 4 large play areas and 15 cat cages.

Employees and volunteers at SCAS work diligently to place all the animals that come to the shelter.

Tara, Roger, myself (Keli) and all of our volunteers do our very best for the pets that come through the shelter, because we love animals so much. We laugh and cry with them. Our pets come mostly from owner surrender and stay/abandonded pick ups and drop offs.
