If you’ve been thinking about adding a new addition to your family, this weekend is a perfect time! We have lots of great dogs available for adoption, and from 1-5 pm today (Oct. 8th) and tomorrow (Oct. 9th) all adult dogs (excluding high profile pets) will be just $75 to adopt! All of our pets come spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccines! We also have lots of cute cats and kittens available, as well as a couple of guinea pigs! We are still looking for vendors to join us at Howl N’ Prowl! We will have booths set up all around city park for folks to take their pups trick-or-treating, so if you’d like to be a part of the fun, let us know! You can contact our event coordinator at asvolunteer@cityofmhk.com. There is no fee to participate, we just have you to fill out a vendor agreement form, and will let you know where you’ll be stationed when we get closer to the actual date!

We need your help! The staff at T. Russell has decided to kick off spooky season right with some pumpkin carving, and we want you to vote on your favorite! We are running low on linens again and would love to help you clear out some extra storage space in your closets! Our pets love your gently used or no longer needed blankets, towels, and sheets for snuggling into, especially with the fall weather starting to move in! We are open Mon-Sat from 1-5pm if you’d like to bring donations in, or you can set them outside our front door and staff will grab them as we see them.
