Friends of KC Animals (FoKCA) is an all-volunteer non-profit that encourages compassion toward all living things. We help homeless and neglected animals, assist struggling pet owners, troubleshoot animal-related dilemmas and encourage plant-based eating.

Friends of KC Animals (FoKCA) is a charity that helps homeless and needy animals in the Kansas City area. It advocates for humane policies, educates the public on responsible pet ownership, works to keep struggling families with their loved animals, and acts to reduce the homeless pet population. FoKCA helps animals facing extraordinary circumstances.

We encourage compassion to all animals. We advocate for humane policies, educate others on responsible pet ownership, work to keep struggling families with loved pets, act to reduce pet homeless and encourage plant-based eating.

FoKCA often contributes to spay & neuter costs and funding for cases of non-routine vet care, dependent on need and availability of resources. Individuals can apply for aid, and if approved, be awarded a portion of veterinary costs.
