St. Martin Humane Society

SMHS was founded in April 1999. We are a group of ordinary people that have taken on the extraordinary task of placing animals in their forever homes.

To prevent and relieve the suffering of animals.

Aid in the enforcement of all laws relating to the subject of cruelty to animals and the lawful protection thereof.

Carry on a program of teaching and education on the subject of cruelty to animals and responsible pet care.

Reduce the overpopulation of domestic animals in the area served by the Society through spay-neuter and vaccination programs.

Seek the return of lost animals to their rightful owners.

Seek suitable homes for animals without owners.

Obtain and maintain shelters for homeless or abused animals.

If you are interested in helping our cause, please consider fostering an animal, making a donation, or volunteering at one of our adoption events and fundraisers. We are a non-profit organization so we rely on people like you to help us carry out our mission.
