No-Kill Animal Shelter

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals of Avoyelles Parish through abuse/neglect prevention, overpopulation, rescue and providing nurturing forever homes for them to live out the remainder of their lives.

Hours of operation:
Every day of the week from 8:30 AM - 12 PM except on Wednesday. We are closed to the public on Wednesdays due to vet trips.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO DROP AN ANIMAL OFF (ANIMAL ABANDONMENT). We have security camera installed, and will press charges against anyone whom abandons an animal at our facility.

We are accepting applications for volunteers and/or members. Stop by and pick one up at the shelter. Member fees are $20/person and $30/family.



Only accepting dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at this time due to limited space. Sorry for the inconvenience. There is a fee of $25.00/animal to surrender an animal to our facility. Adoption fees vary from animal to animal. Most animals that are up for adoption are up to date on immunizations and are spayed/neutered. Come by today and fill out an application to make a new addition to your family!

Adoption fees:
Spayed female cats/dogs - $80/animal
Neutered male cats/dogs - $75/animal
