Heart of a Lion Rescue pulls our animals from a nearby rural shelter with very high euthanasia rates. At this time, we are not able to assist with feral cats or owner surrenders.

Heart of a Lion Rescue's only goal is to find the perfect forever home for each cat and kitten that we take in. Every animal is evaluated by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered and given all vaccinations before they leave us. While in their foster home, we spend time evaluating their personality and temperament so that we place each one into the best forever home possible based on their individual needs and the needs of their new family
