Search and Rescue Dog Association of Alberta (SARDAA) is a Registered Charity group of highly trained volunteers and their dogs who offer their services to authorized tasking agencies (policing agencies, fire departments, municipalities, provincial emergency management). We have dogs trained to locate both missing persons and human remains in urban and wilderness environments as well as inside buildings and from our boats on rivers and lakes. Our teams are evaluated and accredited by Edmonton Police Service Search & Rescue (SAR) Managers. Our emergency number which can be found on our web site is monitored 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Please understand that SARDAA is unable to respond to requests for assistance from members of the general public, including the family, friends and associates of missing persons. If you feel our help would be valuable, please request that the official in charge of the missing person file contact us.
