Georgina Animal Control & Adoption Centre is the facility which provides shelter to all cats and dogs found running at large within the municipal borders of Georgina, East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, and Aurora.

• The Georgina Animal Shelter & Adoption Centre regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 8am-12 October to May and 8-4 June to September. Users can expect a timely response to social media inquiries during regular hours of operation. This account is not monitored 24/7. If you are calling after shelter hours for a contained dog or cat, make sure you leave a message for Animal Control Services in your area. Messages left for the shelter staff may not be returned until the next business day.
