FNAS is an all volunteer, non-profit animal rescue group dedicated to helping the animals of the Noble Animal Shelter.

The volunteers were new to shelter and rescue work. No one could have prepared them for the harshness the summer would bring. Shelters and rescue groups were stretched beyond their limits and adoptions were few and far between. In hopes of helping them find their forever homes, all the animals were vaccinated and tested for heart worms. Unfortunately, tests results showed Ana was heart worm positive. Hearts sank and tears were shed knowing those words could be her death sentence. However, no matter how full the shelter got, Ana’s life was spared. Word quickly spread about our dear Ana and a rescue group tagged and posted her. It was official! The search was on for Ana’s forever home!

Then one day, seemingly out of the blue, the following events occurred changing Ana’s life forever.
