Welcome to the Waverly Animal Shelter Facebook page. We are employed by the City of Waverly Animal Control. We respond to calls of animals in danger, roaming strays, lost and found animals, abandoned and owner surrendered pets. We partner with The Humphrey's County Humane Society and our local veterinary offices, to offer these unwanted animals a second chance at life. We work together, to help abused, abandoned, homeless, lost and unwanted animals get the medical attention, food, shelter, water, love and attention they so much deserve. Together with the help of our community and volunteers we are dedicated to finding as many homes as possible for these animals. Humphrey's County Humane Society also offers programs to help offset the costs of spaying and neutering your pet for those, who otherwise, may not be able to afford the full cost. Pet overpopulation is a serious problem, please do your part, be a responsible pet owner, spay and neuter, together we can fight pet overpopulation and save lives.
