Stray Paws From Greece is a non profit organization founded in Toronto Canada by Anastasia Somers, a Greek Canadian animal rescuer.
Anastasia has been involved with animal rescue for many years by sponsoring several rescue groups in both Greece and Canada and sending funds to help emergency situations- involving animals in distress-all over Greece.She also has funded and still is founding the rescuing, spaying/neutering,fully vetting,microchiping,transporting to Canada and rehoming numerous wonderful dogs from Greece.
Anastasia has been working for a few years now with an amazing non profit rescue/foster in Greece. All of the dogs she rescues go to live in their loving home environment were they are loved,cared for, socialized with other dogs, cats, people and been absorbed 24-7.Months later the ones that are destined for Canada are chosen and prepared for the trip of their life!
Anastasia has partnered with one more amazing non profit rescue group in Greece a few months ago.
Anastasia has now started her own organization in an effort to provide the best of care to the abused and neglected Greek stray dogs.

We have successfully adopted out a large number of dogs and are asking for your donations to bring them to Canada and their lovingly awaiting families.
