Animal Protection and Welfare Society - APAWS

APAWS is dedicated to helping animals in need in the Baton Rouge, LA area. Two things hinder our ability to help all animals we are requested to rescue: foster homes and money. We are a no-kill rescue and will not euthanize unless there is no medical treatment available.

We believe every animal deserves a chance. We don't euthanize based on how much the treatment will cost or how adoptable the animal is!

If you have a question or concern about our foster pets or an animal in need, please email us directly at info@apawspets.org. Our Facebook page is maintained by social media volunteers, and the fastest way to reach a board member and receive an official answer concerning an animal is via email.
