It is our Mission to keep strays off the streets for the safety of the animals and the citizens as well as returning impounded animals back to their owners!

The Raymore Animal Shelter is operated by the City of Raymore's Animal Control Department.

We return as many pets back to their homes as possible, but when an animal is not claimed during their stray hold, the animal is then put up for Adoption! Please, always check with our department to see if we have any adoptable dogs or cats available!

To see our current selection of pets, come by the shelter at 1023 S. Madison! Since we're often out in the field, calling ahead of your visit is recommended.
