Save what we can, when we can, the best way that we can.

We deal with animals A-Z...Literally. Animals such as alligators, squirrels, opossums, turtles, snakes, many types of birds, ducks, bunnies and several other species of wildlife. We rehabilitate groundhogs, hedgehogs and even bullfrogs if we have to. Dogs, cats and other domestic animals find their way through Second Chance as well as Horses, goats and a variety of other farm animals. All of our volunteers and staff members tend to get involved with whatever walks through the doors of our facility. However, do to our involvement in large animal exhibits people contact us with regard to other animals that tend to be illegally possessed and have been surrendered or confiscated. In turn everybody here has a special area of handling and expertise.
