We house many cats and dogs that are here as strays. These animals are held for 5 days as strays. After the 5 day stray period, if these animals are adoptable, they are placed up for adoption.

Here at the City of Fallon Animal Control, myself and the other Animal Control Officers, and our volunteers, strive to provide safe and humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals in accordance with Nevada State regulations until a permanent home can be provided. We are also responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of the City of Fallon’s municipal codes and State of Nevada Laws regarding animals within the City Limits of Fallon.
