Who We Are & What We Do:
Pets4Luv Foundation is a registered 501 © 3 non-profit animal rescue organization that is 100% volunteer & donation based. We have no paid employees.
Our top three goals are:
First and foremost, we help as many dogs & cats that we can that have been injured, abandoned or abused. They are given temperament tests, then given the proper socialization and care they need. We then give them as much love as possible until we can find them the new loving forever home they deserve.
Our second very difficult goal, is to educate society on the care of and responsibility toward animals. Pets4Luv’s goal is to change the myths, misconceptions, and ignorance regarding animal care, safety and outdated laws.
Our third is working to get animal rescue in shopping malls. By the high visibility to the public it gives us the opportunity to inform & educate them that there are more options available then just pet stores selling improperly cared for (and often mistreated and abused) dogs & cats for exorbitant prices. Most people are not aware that you can adopt almost any type of pet you could want and in the process save a life.
Some of our other goals consist of:
--To enlist as many Veterinarians and Animal Emergency Hospitals to work together for affordable care for rescued animals.
--To create a fund to offset medical costs for responsible, loving pet owners who are unable to afford it and eliminate needless euthanization.
--To find as many forever homes for our precious, loving pets, as humanly possible.
--To reduce the high incidents of unnecessary euthanasia incurred on defenseless pets forced into overcrowded shelters.
--To discourage people from looking the other way and encourage them to participate in rectifying the problems of cruelty, abuse, neglect, abandonment and overpopulation of these pets through education and creating awareness of the problems, and experience the unconditional love these animals have to offer.

If you remember: we rescued them from a yard when they were approx. 2 years old. They were assumed to be blind. We got them medical care where it was found that they were born with no eyelids which caused infections. They have since had a few eye surgeries, have completely healed and they now DO HAVE SOME VISION. WE HAVE GREAT NEWS TO SHARE WITH YOU: CHARLIE & CHAPLIN are out of that crate in a garage and ARE NOW IN THEIR NEW "Foster-to-Adopt" home, together!!!!!!! We are SO happy for these boys! And we are SO VERY THANKFUL to our fellow rescuer SONNIA CEPEDA and alleykattz rescue for finding them a home and arranging all the transport. PETS4LUV ALUMNI UPDATE: Who remembers little Cocoa? Last year she was trapped for TNR, but it turned out she was too sweet and timid to put back out in the wild. The trapper gave her 3 days to find a home or else he was putting her back out. Pets4Luv found her a foster home on the last day, where she spent some time until we eventually found her a FOREVER HOME. Fast forward to now and her loving, Adoptor, Hilda tells us that this shy little gal is now a wonderful, happy and beautiful kitty. Her name is NOW ZOE and she has come so far. Her human mom, Hilda tells us that "she is perfect and that she's playful and loves her soccer balls, cat tree and of course, her snacks!" Thanks to alot of time and patience in allowing Zoe to overcome her shyness, she has blossomed into a happy house cat who is LOVING THE ADOPTED LIFE!
