Finger Lakes SPCA Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide, to the best of our ability, the shelter animals in our community with housing and care until they are adopted into a permanent home. We pledge to enforce the New York State animal cruelty laws within our jurisdiction, provide spay/neuter services, and reunite lost animals with their guardians. Our organization is dedicated to elevating and supporting the human-animal bond through education concerning the humane treatment of all animals and responsible companion animal guardianship.



*Promote the humane treatment and care of all animals within our area.
*Enforce the New York State animal cruelty laws.
*Provide education for public awareness of the humane treatment and care of all animals and the specific responsibilities of companion animal guardianship.
*Provide a facility to house stray and unwanted animals in a manner which shall sustain their health and welfare.
*Aggressively work to reunite lost animals with their guardians.
*Encourage the adoption of stray and unwanted animals.
