Nodaway Rat Rescue is a very VERY small animal rescue and santuary located in Maryville, Missouri.

NARR's ultimate mission is to educate as much of the public as possible in our rural area that small pets deserve humane treatment, to promote frozen feeding of reptiles instead of live whenever possible, and to be a way station for healthy adoptable animals in their path to a loving home or a soft place to fall for those that need sanctuary.

Nod Away Rat Rescue was created out of a cherished memory of the founders first friendship with a rat. In order to honor that memory and fill the need for a soft place to fall for unwanted and abused rats and other small pets in the northern Missouri area.
