We are a Cage Free Senior Dog Sanctuary and Hospice.

Our Mission is to provide Love and Comfort to senior dogs that have been displaced due to death/illness of their owner, being dumped into a shelter or by an owner that can no longer handle the extra care a senior may need. NO animal should die in a shelter and more so, in many cases, a blind or deaf senior. We are determined to offer them love, emotional and medical support until they have exhausted their quality of life on this earth and are ready to "Cross The Bridge".

Puppies Under Protection, Inc. is proud to present "The Senior Scenter". Our "Old Timers Crib" was built to accommodate Senior Dogs that have been dumped at shelters or become "homeless" due to their owner passing or entering a nursing home, etc. As much as we would like, we do have a limit on how many seniors we can house and unfortunately can not take them all. None of our residents live in cages. Everyone has 24/7 free range of the home and the yard. Many have medical problems and may only be given weeks or months to live. Our plan is to make sure that they are loved and comfortable up until and especially at their last moment on earth. Most of our seniors are here till they "Cross The Bridge" so there are no adoption fees like a regular rescue. We provide them with EVERY comfort a dog could need or want. The best food, comfy beds, a/c, heat, music, TV and LOTS of love . . 24/7!! If you like what we do, there are several ways you can help!
