Our mission is to be a safe harbor for the orphaned, abandoned, severely neglected, sick, abused and homeless animals who come to us-especially the old and young. We exist to help the un-adoptable pet or domesticated farm/exotic who has the capability to become adoptable with rehabilitation in a safe, nurturing, medically and psychologically restorative recovery haven. prior to adoption into homes where they will remain safe and well. Where appropriate to our skills we will also provide a haven to recovering wildlife. Finally, where needed, we will provide hospice to the old.


Why Lee Shore Rescue? Well, in the boating world, a lee shore is any shoreline that you would drift into should your vessel lose power. Sometimes it is a safe place; sometimes you are battered to pieces on the rocks. The animals who come to us have lost all power in this world. They are orphaned, abandoned, severely neglected, sick, abused, and homeless. We exist to help the un-adoptable pet or domesticated farm/exotic who has the capability to become adoptable with rehabilitation in a safe, nurturing, medically restorative environment.
