Clinton County Humane Society

The Clinton County Humane Society works to find homes for the county's unwanted animals. It also spays/neuters to reduce the unwanted animal population.

The Clinton County Humane Society was founded in 2003, first in an existing building and then in a shelter built in 2006 from privately donated funds. It is a no-kill, nonprofit organization. We have adopted more than 6,600 animals since the group began. The Clinton County Humane Society does not receive county or government funding, and it depends on donations to fund the shelter. Because the shelter is staffed by volunteers, based on their varying schedules, adoptions are by appointment. Our adoptable animals can be seen at www.petfinder.com//pet-search?shelter_id=OH323.
