IRO, Island Rescue Organization, Inc. is a SEC registered non-profit organization composed of volunteers dedicated to helping the plight of animals in the region through rescue, education and advocacy. IRO’s goal is to promote responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals, rescue homeless companion animals, and establish the first rescue center and sanctuary in Bohol. IRO’s headquarters is located in Cebu City, however, there are IRO chapters established in Bacolod and Bohol.

IRO is focused on the long term solution for the local filipino stray Aspin. We believe in educating the local people on proper animal handling and care. Every pet that we give for adoption is vaccinated and de-sexed to control the stray population. We believe that is the only solution and it provides your pet a long and healthy life.
