A one woman team prowling Gumtree to rescue and rehabilitate lives - one cat at a time.

Crazy Cat Lady Queensland (ABN: 93160581452) was founded in 2017 to address the sharp increase in cats and kittens being given away and surrendered in Queensland during the Christmas holiday period, which coincides with mating season. We exist to ease the burden on existing shelters, reduce unnecessary euthanising of healthy cats, and ensure the safety of cats and kittens in need.

Crazy Cat Lady Queensland intends to do this by:
1. Providing shelter and care for cats and kittens in need
2. Neutering and spaying cats and kittens in care before adoption
3. Screening adoptive homes before rehoming

We are a no kill rescue which principal purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate cats that are in urgent need of rehoming, specifically elderly cats, cats that would be considered unadoptable by shelters (eg due to behavioural or non infectious health issues), and cats that are at risk of being abandoned or euthanised.
