Tracy Cat Rescue
Tracy Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run trap-neuter-return (TNR) and rescue program. We can provide advice for cat issues, but have no funding to offer.
Tracy Cat Rescue was created to improve the lives of community cats in San Joaquin County through education; Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs; encouraging the fostering, socialization and adoption of their kittens; and to encourage the community to care for all cats in a compassionate and humane way.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to enhance and protect the welfare of community cats and to promote the humane treatment of these animals by providing food, shelter and health care; implementing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs; and educating the community on the benefits of TNR.
We promote community awareness of the need to spay/neuter pets, as well as work to re-home friendly strays and remove kittens from feral colonies and place them into forever homes.
We are advocates for the protection of all cats from cruelty and recognize their right to live in a safe environment.
We oppose the killing of adoptable animals by shelters and other organizations.
Our Vision
To live in a community where no kittens are born wild, where no cat capable of living in a home is without one, and where all community cats have food, water, shelter and proper care.
