Our mission is to empty shelter cages by rescue and adoption. We will pursue avenues to educate the public on how important it is to spay and neuter their pets and maintain veterinary care. We will continue to bring awareness of animal abuse, cruelty and mistreatment and hopefully help to end this epidemic one day.

Furgotten Souls Animal Rescue was incorporated by myself, Karen Beese on 2/14/2012. Since a young girl I have been passionate about animals, whether it be a stray kitten or injured wildlife I could not resist helping a cute and furry anything in need. It has earned me the titles of Karen Dolittle and Snow White by some of my close friends and Crazy and Nuts by my family! I was looking to adopt a puppy around Dec of 2011 and came across my boy Jack at the Malvern, AR shelter where I met a wonderful group of ladies who work endlessly to save the animals in their care. When realizing the amount of animals on death row in the south I decided I had to do more to help. So without much planning and sparse funds I created Furgotten Souls with the hopes of saving more furbabies who sat in cold cages waiting and forgotten and believing that somehow the funding and support from donations would come to keep it going. It was through an adoption and transport that I met a new friend who is doing wonders out of NY saving lives and rehoming so many of the babies we rescue, thanks Jen!
