It's all about the dog!

We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home Shih Tzu into permanent adoptive homes. We do adopt outside Ohio, but we do not ship our dogs. Ohio has a significant number of homeless Shih Tzu and we are dedicated to reducing and ultimately eliminating Shih Tzu that have to be euthanized due to space in shelters.


Our dogs come from a variety of situations. High kill shelters, owner turn-ins, and cast-offs from puppy mills. We get their medical needs assessed and treated. Our foster homes then work with the dogs to get them placed in a home that best meets their needs. We do not operate a shelter. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes as part of a family environment. Our foster homes perform a critical function of rehabilitating their foster dogs so that they are adoptable.
