K9 Paw Print Rescue is a non profit 501(c)(3). -Tax I.D. 45-5601628 We rescue, rehab, and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected animals from shelter situations. We work closely with our shelters and rescuers to give homeless animals a second chance.

K9 Paw Print Rescue's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals from high-kill shelters. We work with various shelters to save the lives of animals facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, medical conditions and many other issues. We work to provide solutions to end the pet over-population epidemic as well as promote responsible pet ownership through education and public awareness campaigns.

K9 Paw Print Rescue was established in 2012 by a group of animal lovers dedicated to rescuing dogs abandoned in local shelters and facing euthanasia. Our organization is composed of dedicated, experienced and hardworking volunteers and loving foster homes. Dogs in our program are evaluated for temperament and health, medically treated (if necessary) and placed in foster homes until they are deemed ready for adoption.
K9PPR’s main goal is to rescue the dogs with little to no chance of being adopted in municipal shelters. Unfortunately, many shelter dogs fall into this category due to fear, neglect, abuse, treatable illnesses, age as well as a host of other reasons. Thanks to the help of our training and veterinary partners as well as our fosters and volunteers, we are able to help many of these “underdogs” and set them up for successful placement in loving forever homes. As of 2018 we have placed over 700 dogs (and a few cats) in wonderful homes!
