“My heart is broken but I am happy she knew no pain.”
Karma Family, please Light a Candle for Midge 🕯🌈
Karma helped Midge find her forever home with her amazing mom, Julie. During their years together, Midge received and gave so much love. She passed peacefully, snuggled on the couch next to her momma.
“I was next to her on the couch. Dementia was pretty far advanced and she didn’t want to move. She closed her eyes and let me know she was all done. Peaceful and calm just like the day we met - my heart is broken but I am happy she knew no pain.”
Karma Family, please Light a Candle for Midge who just passed over the Rainbow Bridge. 🧡🌈

Keeping families together. 5 more days before we need to meet our $10,000 Match Donation. Karma family, we need your help!
You can help end animal abandonment today! We only have 5 days to hit our match donation!
Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve been able to help 550 pets this year through our spay/neuter and intervention program. This is a whopping 64% increase from 2020!
We want to be able to help even more pets and families in crisis in 2022. To do this, we need your help!
Karma’s year-end fundraising goal is to raise money so we can continue our prevention and intervention efforts and bring aid and healing to animals and their families. In addition to keeping families together, our work dramatically reduces strays, shelter overcrowding and unnecessary euthanasia.
Donate today and your donation will have DOUBLE THE IMPACT! All donations up to $10,000, in the next 5 days, will be matched by the Jean Aubuchon Cinader Fund. Their (and your) generous gift will enable us to help even more animals in 2022.
Please help us lend a hand to ensure that families can stay together. Your support means so much to us, but it means the world to those we serve.

We never let a dog down! Help us meet our match donation. We only have 6 more days!!
Do you have a soul mate? Well, that’s what Evi is to me. From day one, Evi has always been by my side. My name is Grace, and I’m proud to be a Karma Rescue Dog. Evi is a smaller chihuahua, so as the bigger dog it was my job to protect her. Not only is she my best friend, but she’s my sister. It was always Grace and Evi against the world until our human mom passed away. But thanks to the caring volunteers at Karma Rescue, we will never be separated again.
Like many of the dogs Karma Rescue saves, our lives had a rough start. Our story began on the streets of Skid Row. It wasn’t a glamorous life but our bellies were always full, even when we heard mom’s stomach growling as we rested our heads on her lap. All we cared about was that we had each other.
We stayed on Skid Row until our mom ultimately succumbed to her addiction. When she didn’t wake up, Evi and I were rushed to an animal shelter and separated. I’ve never known such worry and panic more than during the time when I couldn’t see my sister. Speaking of sisters, our mom's sister contacted Karma Rescue because she was worried about what would happen to us. Karma Rescue sprang into action to remove us from the shelter. Karma Rescue vowed to make sure we would never be separated again and found us the perfect home where we could live together happily.
Our forever home was located in Seattle, so our friends at Karma arranged a home check in advance. Once our new family passed the home check, our volunteer friends took a road trip with us all the way up to Seattle! I can tell you now this car ride was much more fun than our ride to the animal shelter. We were together and got to take turns alternating between getting pets, stopping to check out the scenery, and feeling the breeze as we stuck our noses out the window. And when we arrived in Seattle, we instantly knew we were both home for good, together forever.
Don’t forget! All donations up to $10,000 will be matched by the Jean Aubuchon Cinader Fund. Please make your gift today to help us keep fur families together.

Karma helped Gus find a home years ago. Initially, we weren't sure if it was going to work out long-term. While his new dad LOVED Gus and was an incredibly loving dog dad, we weren't sure if he had the resources to raise Gus. But he loved Gus so much that we decided to take a chance on him.
From the start we could see that Gus and his new dad were a match made in heaven! Gus couldn't have been happier in his new forever home.
For the most part, Gus' new dad had the resources to take care of him. But occasionally, he would reach out to Karma for help. Through our Project Coco program, we would give Gus dog food, toys, and flea treatment whenever his dad was in need. This doesn't happen a lot, but when it does, Karma's always there.
This is what we mean when we say that we're with our Karma dogs for a lifetime. Even after a pup is adopted and finds their forever family, we're always here to support them.
Gus' dad is the best dog dad ever. Gus is happy, healthy and gets all the lovin' that he deserves. Gus' dad taught us that you can't judge a good home by how much money they have in the bank. We're happy his pop reaches out to us when we are needed. We are family after all.
Once a Karma dog, always a Karma dog 🧡

We have only 8 days left to make our $10,000 Match Donation. We need your help.
Here at Karma, one of our missions is to keep families and pets together. This is why Karma exists! We help pets AND the people who love them.
We pledge to do everything in our power to keep families and their pets together. We keep this promise in two ways:
🐶Delivering desperately needed financial assistance and animal care resources to pet families in crisis through Project Coco
🐶Providing free spay/neuter clinics, in targeted high-need areas, throughout Los Angeles County through Get Fixed L.A.
We’ve helped 550 pets this year through our spay/neuter and intervention program. This is a 64% increase from 2020! Over the last quarter we were able to secure new veterinarian partnerships. Now we have a total of 10 partners we work with to provide free spay/neuter services and medical attention for pet families in crisis. We’re hoping to help even more pets, 680 in 2022. You can help us make that a reality!

Families stay together
Your support is more important now than ever!
Some pet families in our community face tough decisions such as whether to buy groceries and pay rent or get lifesaving veterinary care for a sick or injured animal companion. In a worst-case scenario, they contemplate surrendering to an overcrowded shelter in hopes that the animal would get the care it needs (but seldom does). Nobody should ever have to make such heartbreaking decisions – especially when help is available.
This is your opportunity to help us help pets and their families in crisis. Your contribution will make DOUBLE THE IMPACT because all donations up to $10,000, raised before Nov. 25th, will be matched by the Jean Aubuchon Cinader Fund. Jean had a deep love of animals and a strong interest in funding animal rescue, rehabilitation, placement, and protection of animals. What If every dog left this world knowing love …
My life is over, but I just can’t help wondering where it all went wrong. The only thing that I know for certain is that the very best parts of my life were the beginning and the end, when I was with Karma Rescue.
Karma Rescue found me in 2016, named me Beau, and helped me find my first “forever” home. At least I thought it would be forever. I was so happy to be adopted by a kind woman who spoiled me. But my happiness was short-lived. My mom and I had to move quickly and discovered that she couldn’t keep me in her new apartment. So, she gave me away to another family. Eventually, that family gave me away, too.
When I ended up in the animal shelter, the staff should have called Karma Rescue on my behalf. Instead, I was adopted by another man who loved me until he couldn’t afford me. I suddenly became very sick, and the man couldn’t pay for my care so he returned me to the animal shelter. Only then was Karma Rescue called to save me, but it was too late.
When Karma Rescue picked me up, my diseased body was riddled with cancer and there was no treatment that could save me. Knowing that I wasn’t ready to go quite yet, Karma Rescue placed me in the home of a kind volunteer, named Elena, who showed me what real love felt like for my final days. She gave me daily massages that soothed my pain and even spoon-fed me delicious foods. My favorite activity was spending hours at the beach watching people and enjoying the salty smells. I particularly loved to watch the other dogs playing and the people zooming by on their skateboards. Then, after I experienced the best week of my entire life, I passed away peacefully and comfortably in Elena’s cozy apartment.
Please donate so we can make sure dogs like Beau get the care they need and don’t get left behind.
All donations up to $10,000 will be matched by the Jean Aubuchon Cinader Fund.
We must hit this goal by Thanksgiving – Karma family, we can do this! Please help animals today.

I’m looking for a home for the holidays! I’m Ramon, and I’m a 10 year old hippo searching for my forever home. My journey hasn’t been an easy one, starting in the shelter, being adopted and having to be rehomed and now with a foster. I’m just looking for a family that I can live out my golden years with.
Since it’s National Slobber Appreciation Day, I should start off by saying how much I love giving kisses! They’re my love language! I’m an avid squirrel watcher and lover of leisurely walks. I’m a laid back guy who gets along with adults, older kids and other animals, as long as they respect my space. However, I don’t see eye-to-eye with cats. Sorry!
I’m well trained and completely house-trained - that means less work for you! If you’re in California and interested in giving me a forever home, please reach out to info@karmarescue.org.
