PAWS Animal Welfare Society, Inc, Fort Kent

PAWS is a nonprofit that rescues abandoned cats in the St John Valley, Aroostook County, Me. Open Hours are Sat 11-3pm, for appts call 8344523.

Our mission is to spay/neuter as many cats as possible to reduce the large population of unwanted cats in the St. John Valley through spay/neuter of owned cats (who often are allowed to roam) and homeless cats. Although we make excellent use of the Help Fix ME program for eligible pet owners, we are often required to assist owners financially who are not eligible for this program and we must incur the expense when cats are homeless which is the case in at least 60% of the situations. We rely on the generosity of our community and donations. Donations can be sent to PAWS at PO Box 94, Fort Kent Mills, 04744
