Just wanted to update everyone on the doggie we found in heavy morning traffic a little over a week ago. With the help of my daughter, Pippo the famous Pit Bull, and Papusa (my daughters dog). She has slowly come out of her shell. My heart is sooo filled right now. A week ago she would not come out from under my daughters bed! Every dog has hope and deserves a second chance!

This morning we spent an hour chasing this sweet girl out of traffic and Aviation and Rosecrans The only reason we were able to catch her is because she was EXHAUSTED! No chip, no collar or tags.

Hi, my name is Rocky. I’m new to Noah’s Bark and available for adoption! I am about 7 months old, so I’m still a young dude finding my way in this big exciting world. There is so much to do and learn! I love to be on the move and explore, so if you are looking for an energetic active puppy, well here I am! I love to play with dog toys and my foster dog brother. I live with a cat, but when I saw him up close, I turned and ran the other way (what was that strange creature?). But my foster mom thinks in time the cat won’t seem so scary. They say I’m a Rat Terrier, but at 17lbs, I’m way bigger than a rat and I don’t actually like rats, so calling me that just seems silly. LOL. Since I’m still a young lad I can be a bit mouthy, my foster Mom is working on that with me, but the nice folks at Noah’s Bark think that a house with small children may not be my best home for that reason. I am doing very well on my potty-training, I am almost a pro! I had a hard start in life, but I am looking forward to having a forever home. One that will give me some structure, help me perfect my manners, and have fun adventures. Two people to check vendors in the morning 8:45 to 11:45
And 2 more people to check vendors in from 3 to 4
I need five people to work vip area (where all the good beer is) from 10 to 4
And six people from 3 to 8 I’m vip area
Also need volunteers to check people into the beerfest for both shifts.

It’s almost time! The Los Angeles beer fest is right around the corner. It’s Noah’s Bark biggest fundraiser of the year! September 18! Info below in link
Covid hit us really hard at Noah’s Bark. Not being able to have adoption events and no proceeds from the beer fest or any other fundraiser left us almost TEN THOUSAND in debt.
It’s incredibly hard to get a plea about an injured or sick dog and have to say “no” do to lack or funds.

How can you as one person help?

1. Donate your time and work the beer fest. You will either be pouring beer, checking people in, or working the VIP area. There are two time slots 10 to 4 and 3:30 to 9. We also need 4 people to check vendors in from 8 am to 11:30 and another two at 3 for vendors.

2. Do you own or know of a company that is willing to donate towards our raffle? Anything that people would want to buy raffle tickets for. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS DONATED RAFFLE ITEMS.

Hi my name is Coco and I am a 2 year old Pittie Mix with the biggest goofiest smile. I was found as a stray in the early summer and ended up at the county shelter. Even though I had a good report card from the shelter no one adopted me and I was scheduled to be euthanized. Luckily a Noah’s Bark volunteer saw something in me and managed to take me under her wing an hour before I set to be put to sleep. Now I live in a home with my foster sister and I am all smiles and my tail won’t stop wagging. I’m so happy to be alive and I am learning new things all the time. I am crate trained, I know basic commands and I am potty trained. I love humans and would do best in a home with a large male companion. I am not very fond of cats or other small pets. I love snack time and belly rubs from my humans. I am spayed and up to date on vaccinations. I am ready to find my forever home. #pitbullsofinstagram #pitbull #adoptdontshop #bestfriends
