Seagoville Texas Animal Advocates & Rescue (STAAR) is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, working hand-in-hand with the Seagoville Animal Shelter in placing animals into permanent homes.

Seagoville Texas Animal Advocates & Rescue (STAAR) is a 501(c)(3) volunteer based non-profit charitable organization. We are dedicated to caring for the homeless, abandoned, neglected, and unwanted pets in our community. By working with committed volunteers and foster homes, we strive to reduce the euthanasia rate of healthy animals in shelters, provide necessary veterinary care, and develop a network to rescue and assist in finding loving permanent homes for the animals in need. Our goal is to increase public awareness of the animal overpopulation issue and provide solutions to end the unnecessary killing of adoptable animals. We rely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers to open their hearts and homes to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need our help.
