Our Mission
To advocate, educate, and provide for the health and well-being of companion animals in our community.


ICAN takes in cats and kittens, owner surrendered dogs and small animals. We attend to their veterinary needs, including spay and neuter, and any special care required to place them in to loving forever homes.

Here at ICAN we:
ADVOCATE for the humane and ethical treatment of animals.

EDUCATE the community on the behavioural, emotional and physical needs of animals.

PROVIDE for animals directly via the shelter and indirectly by facilitating care and homes via other avenues.
