Do Over Dogs-A Second Chance At Life’s mission statement is simple: to give at-risk dogs and puppies from the shelter environment A Second Chance At Life. We rescue and provide rehabilitation for dogs and puppies with medical and behavioral problems, and give sanctuary to those animals who can’t be re-homed, due to their issues, a safe place to live out their lives.

As a rescue our main priority is to save dogs and puppies and place them into homes that will forever be theirs. These sweet kids come from awful backgrounds; full of abuse, neglect and sadness. Our goal is to take these animals from the situations that they are in now, bring them back to health and place them in a home. The homes that they go to allow them to feel like a family member and not a yard ornament or prisoner.

Our Vision:

We are a foster-based rescue. Our goal is to acquire a 10-acre property and provide a functional facility that will allow us to house dogs and puppies until a foster home is available, or until they are able to be adopted. This facility will also allow us to treat animals with medical issues and provide constant care and positive behavioral rehabilitation for animals that would otherwise be subject to euthanasia in a traditional shelter setting.

We plan to finance the ongoing operations of our facility with the income garnered from several businesses on our property, on top of frequent fundraising events. It is our goal to maintain a doggie daycare, groomer’s, and basic obedience center within the rescue.
