Ren is a sweat little rescue, from East Lake Pet Orphanage, born with a congenital heart defect and needs surgery . Please donate & help us save her life!

HI!! My name is Ren. I am about 11 months old and a rescue puppy from East Lake Pet Orphanage. I had no home and wandered the streets of Dallas, with no one to love and care for me. But I was lucky, because a good Samaritan found me and brought me to the Orphanage in early October. There I met Dr. Williams, and got some food and a warm bed. Unfortunately, Doc told me that my heart wasn't strong and had grown three sizes too big. She told me I was born with a congenital heart defect and that I desperately needed surgery to mend my heart so that I could live a life beyond my puppy years. Then one day I met Megan. She came to visit ELPO (East Lake Pet Orphanage), because she heard they were a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue shelter, that she was looking to volunteer at. We liked each other right away, and she wanted to help save my life. She came and visited me everyday for awhile, and then I got to met John and Daiquiri as well. They were so much fun. Before I knew it, they let me go home with them so I didn't have to spend the rest of my time in a cage, while waiting until we could find a way for me to get surgery. I am so happy that now I am at least in warm and loving home, spending time making happy memories with my foster family. They are working really hard to get me the surgery and care I need. So please help save my life and donate what you can, every dollar counts. I will be forever grateful to you for a second chance at life, so that one day I might get to run and play like all the other dogs.
