Good Karma Puppy Rescue’s mission is to reduce the number of abandoned, neglected and euthanized dogs by providing shelter, medical care, and adoption services to pregnant mothers, puppies, and adult dogs.

While we do have the occasional owner surrender, most of our dogs are transported from rural Pikeville, KY. The area doesn't have any spay/neuter program in place and there is not enough funding or space to deal with the unwanted dog population. To that end, Good Karma transports a great number of pregnant/nursing dogs and puppies to Michigan and with the help of some wonderful foster parents, we get these pups clean, healthy and ready to find their forever families.

Good Karma Puppy Rescue is a small, local, foster-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing rescue puppies and dogs loving, forever homes, based out of White Lake, MI.

We work in the Detroit-metro area and surrounding suburbs to bring adopters together with their loving forever companions. The goal of Good Karma is to never turn away an animal in need, whether through owner surrender, stray rescue or saving animals from kill shelters and puppy mills. Through generous donations and the hard work of our volunteers, we strive to help animals in need and find them loving forever homes.
